The healing power of gratitude

There are countless ways to heal yourself. Gratitude is one of them.

Gratitude is a perfect way to show up consciously and remind yourself of your many, many blessings.

When you say ‘thank you’, you are also saying you are abundant. You have received, you have been given to. You can have.

When you express thanks, you are saying that you are already prosperous. This attitude, this energy, makes it easy for you to have more of what you do want.

With this grateful attitude, you are healing yourself.

The wonderful thing about you healing yourself is that it spreads to others around you. Without you trying to heal anyone other than yourself, you bring healing wherever you go, simply by vibrating at gratitude.

You don’t have the power to heal anyone besides yourself, by the way. That is their job, not yours. But if you want to help them get started in their own self healing, show up with a healing tone of gratitude running through you.

Once I learned this truth my whole life changed, for the better.

I could inspire, encourage, and validate healing, but it wasn’t my job to do someone else’s healing for her. I could teach someone techniques that he could use to heal himself, but I couldn’t actually do the work for him.

I could be a great teacher by healing myself. For that lesson I am very grateful.
